Viscosity North America, Inc. (“Viscosity”) announces its CEO and co-founder, Charles Kim, continues to serve as the Vice President of the Utah Oracle User Group (UTOUG) for the second year in a row.
Charles is an Oracle ACE Director and a VMware vExpert, the only person in the world to hold both designations! Alongside Charles on the UTOUG Board of Trustees are Craig Shallahamer and Alan Quigley. Craig is also an Oracle ACE Director and is the Applied AI and Machine Learning Strategist at Viscosity who founded OraPub, now powered by Viscosity. As a board member, he assists in organizing the UTOUG events and the content selection process for the speakers. Alan Quigley is a Senior Software Architect at Viscosity. Alan’s primary responsibilities for serving on the board of the UTOUG is to assist with organizing volunteers and their work, along with scheduling presentations and speakers for the group’s events.
Viscosity is committed to continuing to provide education to the Oracle user community and has thought leaders across different disciplines of Oracle. Outside of the UTOUG, Viscosity takes pride in having officers and board members across various associations.
- Rich Niemiec, Viscosity’s Chief Innovation Officer and Oracle ACE Director, is the Midwest Oracle Users Group (MOUG) president.
- Sean Scott, Viscosity’s Senior Managing Consultant and Oracle ACE, is the Webinar Chair for the Maximum Availability Architecture Special Interest Group (MAASIG).
- Gary Gordhamer, Senior Managing Consultant at Viscosity and Oracle ACE, is a committee member of the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG), Database and Technology community, part of the Quest Oracle User Group.
- Byron Pearce, Viscosity’s Senior Principal Consultant, serves as the Member-at-Large on the Dallas Oracle Users Group (DOUG) board.
Viscosity’s Oracle experts regularly provide specialized training sessions in machine learning and Oracle database performance tuning.
